Prismatic Winds have had a lot of experience in delivering workshops and interactive concerts, for both children and adults. As a group, we have delivered interactive performances to entire primary schools, as well as worked with smaller groups of children and young adults in outreach projects for Live Music Now, National Youth Orchestras of Scotland, and Enterprise Music Scotland. We currently run workshops and concerts with the following themes, but are happy to design bespoke workshops to suit your needs!

Endangered Instruments – This interactive performance introduces the five instruments of the wind quintet, all of which are in danger of becoming extinct! We play music including Flight of the Bumblebee, Jurassic Park, and other ‘endangered’ music.

Movies and Musicals – We introduce all the instruments and show how we can play together in music that’s familiar to everyone! From Let it Go and The Greatest Showman to The Simpsons Theme and music from Star Wars!
